Keynote Speaker | 2026 SNU Women in Leadership Symposium

Dr. Charis M. Rooks will serve as a keynote speaker at Southern Nazarene University’s 2026 Women in Leadership Symposium in Bethany, Oklahoma.

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Women: Leading with Influence, Peace, and Purpose,” will bring women together for leadership development, meaningful conversation, connection, and encouragement.

In her keynote, “Leading While Healing: Influence, Peace, and Purpose After Loss,” Dr. Rooks will share a hope filled, faith rooted message for women who have learned how to keep leading, serving, and encouraging others while carrying their own grief, transition, disappointment, or pain.

Through personal story and practical leadership insight, she will explore the hidden cost of always being “the strong one” and encourage women to pursue healing, peace, and wholeness without abandoning the purpose God has entrusted to them.
