The Anchor

by Anchor & Grace Co.

Scripture Guided Bereavement Companioning

Private, Christ-centered support for men and women learning to live again after the loss of a spouse.

Grief can affect your faith, identity, relationships, responsibilities, decisions, and the way you imagine your future.

The Anchor is a private place where you can talk honestly about what you are carrying, walk through the Word of God, receive practical support, and begin identifying your next steps without being rushed through your grief.

You do not have to have the right words.

You do not have to know exactly what kind of support you need.

You can simply begin where you are.

I Am Walking This Road Too

I lost my husband unexpectedly in April 2025. So when I sit with someone who has lost a spouse, I am not speaking about grief only from something I have studied, taught, or written about. I am learning to navigate life after the loss of my spouse too.

Our stories will not be identical, but there are some parts of this journey you may not have to explain to me. I understand how a life that once felt familiar can suddenly feel different and how grief can touch your relationship with God, your identity, family, friendships, responsibilities, decisions, loneliness, future, and even the ordinary moments of your day.

I know what it is like to love God deeply, question God, feel angry with God, and still keep reaching for Him. I understand that grief can bring questions you never expected to ask and emotions you may not know what to do with. I do not have all the answers, and I will never pretend that I do.

What I can offer is a place where you can be honest about what you are experiencing while we bring what you are carrying before God, open His Word together, and walk through the next part one step at a time.

You do not have to explain everything. I get it.

And you do not have to walk through this season alone.

Support That Meets You Where You Are

You do not have to know what kind of support you need before we meet. Bring what you are carrying, and we will begin there.

When No One Seems to Understand

Maybe everyone thinks you are doing well, but they do not see the quiet house, changing relationships, difficult Sundays, loneliness, or how exhausting it can be to keep explaining grief.

We can talk honestly about the parts of grief others may not see, make room for what you are truly feeling, and walk through this season without pressure to move forward before you are ready.

When Decisions Feel Overwhelming

Maybe you are facing financial decisions, family responsibilities, changes in your home, paperwork, or responsibilities your spouse once carried.

We can slow things down, talk through what is in front of you, consider biblical wisdom and practical next steps, and determine what needs your attention now and what can wait.

When You Have Questions About God

Maybe you love God deeply, or maybe you are not quite sure how you feel about God right now. You may have questions about why this happened, where God is in your grief, what Scripture says, or what faith looks like after loss.

We can talk honestly about those questions and walk through the Word of God together without judgment, Christian clichés, or pressure to have everything figured out.

Start With a Conversation

Your Anchor session begins with what you are carrying that day. We may talk honestly about your grief, open Scripture together, pray, work through practical concerns, or simply identify the next step in front of you.

You do not have to know exactly what you need or have the right words before we talk.

Start with a complimentary 30 minute Anchor Connection Call. After you submit the form, you will be able to choose a date and time that works best for you.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
